Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation you agree to the following terms & conditions:

Payment Terms:

25% Deposit is required to secure all reservations - either by credit card or bank transfer. If by credit card, you can enter your credit card details on a secure server or you can send them to us by fax on +27 (0)21 426 1674 or email to

Balance is due at least 7 days prior to arrival.

NOTE: Credit Card Payments
The original credit card used for making a reservation together with positive identification of the cardholder must be presented upon check-in. No keys will be handed over without the above!
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation in this regard.

Key & Breakage Deposit:

A valid credit card presented by the cardholder is required for the above. Should no credit card be available, a cash amount of ZAR 1500 is payable in cash on arrival. This amount will be refunded within seven days after check-out (or after banking details has been received), should everything be in order.

Any loss or damage to the property and/or its contents must be paid for, whether accidental or intentional.

Any lost keys or keys not returned will result in locks & keys being replaced and the guest held accountable for such charges. This is in the interest of security.

Due attention is therefore advised. Should such damage or loss be more than the Key & Breakage deposit, you will forfeit your deposit and still be liable for the balance of such loss and/or damage.

Cancellation & No Show:

The following fees on the total rental amount are applicable as follows:

30+ Days prior to Arrival 10%

15 - 30 Days prior to Arrival 25%

7 - 14 Days prior to Arrival 50%

Within 7 Days of Arrival 100%

In the event of a no show, you will forfeit your deposit and be held accountable for the full rental amount equivalent to the first 7 days of rental, or the full rental amount if the rental is less than 7 days.

The above will be revised should we be able to re-let the apartment.


The apartment is serviced once weekly (on stays of 7 nights or longer) which includes the replacement of bedding and towels. Should a full cleaning be required, this must be arranged with our office at an additional charge.

Consumption such as water & electricity is included in the rental.

If a meet and greet is required on arrival, this can be arranged at an additional charge.

We reserve the right to substitute the applicable apartment with another similar or higher quality apartment, should the apartment not be "lettable" for any of the following reasons:

* Internal damage

* Death of the apartment's owner and/or spouse leading to withdrawal from the rental pool.

* Any security breach which could risk the safety of our guests.


FZP Apartment Rentals, it's employees and/or agents do not accept liability for any loss and/or damage to any personal items and/or person for any reason whatsoever. Sufficient travel & medical insurance is therefore strongly advised.
